Episode 8: We Finally Get to the Basement!

We’re back with lots to discuss. Finally, AoT fans, we find out what is in the fucking basement! Woo!

After some pointless banter, we get into News (1:11) and Zack talks about sake documentaries, XCOM 2, Reiki Punch, and Osamu Tezuka’s Apollo’s Song (6:54). Air dives into JoJo’s (13:09), catching up on the D. Gray Man anime (13:26), and how Food Wars relates to real life (17:23).

Kenshin takes over (23:10).

We go over the Lesser Known Classic for this week: Roujin Z! (27:15) Next week is A Wind Named Amnesia.

Then it’s a special edition of New Release Tuesday…BL TUESDAY!!! (35:53)

Somehow the conversation rounds about to Osamu Tezuka but then we get back on track talking about Crunchyroll Manga (51:12). Highlights are Heroic Legend of Arslan, Fairy Tail, Sukedachi 09, Inside Mari, and WHAT IS IN THE BASEMENT in Attack on Titan.

Episode 7: WTF is Up With All These Orphanages?

This week on A to Z Anime Podcast…

Zack spent his weekend playing No Man’s Sky (1:15) and watching the new Voltron on Netflix (9:20). This caused a lot of internal turmoil as well as rants about Ghost in the Shell and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Air wanted to relax with some Cheer Boys!! but ended up wallowing in personal reflection instead (44:05) then cried a little at the latest episode of DAYS (48:46).

Somehow, Zack ends up talking about Macross Delta (57:47).

Air redirects the convo to her last news item, B-Project (1:09:30).

Then it’s New Release Tuesday! (1:10:37)

And how about Shonen JUMP (1:19:00)? WTF is up with all these orphanages?! Do we spend more time talking about Bakuman, which is about JUMP, than talking about JUMP itself?

Finally we get around to Lesser Known Classics: Lily C.A.T.! (2:30:45)
